HOTEL INFORMATION |
The Boscolo
Hotel Dei Dogi is a 5-Star Luxury Hotel housed in the
historic and prestigious Palazzo Rizzo Patarol, formerly the
French and Savoyan embassies. The 18th-century luxury of its
precious marbles, splendid period frescoes and majestic
chandeliers make the Boscolo Hotel Dei Dogi the ideal place
to immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of this unique
city.
The hotel is the only one in Venice to vaunt a vast internal
garden evocatively overlooking the lagoon, perfectly
conserved in all its historical detail.
The location of the Boscolo Hotel Dei Dogi, close to the
centre but removed from the most crowded streets, lends a
sense of peace to the city's multifaceted charm.
The building that houses the Hotel Dei Dogi is the
18th-century Palazzo Rizzo Patarol, one of the earliest and
best examples of Ca' Venetian, the residential architecture
of the Venetian nobility.
The Madonna dell'Orto quarter where the palace is located
was, at the time of construction, the only part of Venice
that was planted with crops. This explains why the Hotel Dei
Dogi boasts such an extensive garden, the only one of its
kind in the city. In more recent times, the building was the
seat of the French and Savoyan embassies. A prestigious
history that still resonates in the sumptuousness of every
space and every detail of its décor. |

ACCOMMODATIONS |
|
The 76 rooms
of the Boscolo Hotel Dei Dogi are a compendium of Venetian
style, starting with the Classic and moving on to the more
spacious Deluxe version, complete with high ceilings and
period décor.
The extravagance of the nobility lives on in our 10 Junior
Suites. While the configuration of each is unique, they are
all furnished with Oriental carpets, painted 18th-century
wardrobes, Murano glass chandeliers. Some look out onto the
hotel's splendid garden, while those on the ground floor
open onto a grand hall, a majestic and dignified space where
you can organize banquets and receptions guaranteed to be
unforgettable.
The Presidential Suite is a Venetian dream: detached from
the hotel and immersed in the magic of the garden, it has a
sumptuous dayroom and a balconied sleeping area from which
you can watch the sun rise over the lagoon through
floor-to-ceiling windows. |

AMENITIES & FACILITIES |
By hosting
your meeting at the Hotel Dei Dogi, you automatically confer
a certain importance upon it: this building, once a national
embassy, has seen a lot of history, and many important
figures have met within these walls.
When your guests enter the impressive Foscarini Hall or the
Doge Orseolo Hall, each with a capacity of about 100 people,
it is as if the Hotel Dei Dogi were speaking, through its
luxury and 18th-century elegance, on your behalf.
You will of course have at your disposal a video projector,
flip chart, overhead projector, amplification system and
Internet access. For more complex needs, the hotel is
readily available to organize custom-outfitted congresses
and conferences.
After the meeting your guests will appreciate the
opportunity to relax in the hotel's splendid garden, or to
have a drink in the Doge Orseolo lounge.
In a compact city like Venice, the garden of the Hotel Dei
Dogi is surprising if only for its dimensions (2,000 square
meters). But it is also extraordinary for the rarity of its
botanical species, among which you'll discover a peace and
quiet you thought was no longer possible. You can also visit
the ancient underground icebox, where the earliest owners
would store ice imported from northern Europe.
Needless to say, it's quite exciting to sip an aperitivo in
such a place, even more so to organize a dinner or banquet
here.
The far end of the garden opens out onto the mysterious and
romantic spectacle of the Venetian lagoon: a magical
encounter between land and sea. And if you don't wish to
leave this enchanted corner of timeless beauty, you can
spend your entire visit here: the Presidential Suite and
some of the Junior Suites of the Hotel Dei Dogi are set
apart from the main building, immersed in the garden. |

DINING EXPERIENCE |
|
The restaurant
is well-known in the city for its Venetian and international
specialties. Its world-class cuisine is capable of
satisfying even the most demanding palates, making it one of
the most exclusive havens of luxury dining in Venice. During
the summer months you can enjoy your meal in the quiet and
luxurious setting of the garden of the Hotel Boscolo Dei
Dogi.
For an after-dinner drink, you might wish to move from the
vast spaces of the hall to the more intimate dimensions of
the Doge Orseolo lounge bar. In typically Venetian style, it
welcomes you with a warm and understated atmosphere. |
